Start Living!
Are you satisfied with your life today? Are you stuck in the normal routine rut and can’t get out? Well try something new! It doesn’t have to be something elaborate just different. If you have always driven by a store on your “normal” route to and from work but never stopped in to see what they offer, today go inside. If you want to change careers or desire to start your own business but don’t know where to start, sign up for a class at your local community college to get more information.
I believe it is each person’s civic duty to be all that they can be. Or is that in the army? Anyway, you get my drift, start something different in your life and live a little. We all know that life is short, so why leave this earth without ever experiences some of the exciting moments it has to offer.
I had a friend that passed away a year or so ago, she had worked and retired, she had raised her children and had the short opportunity to know her grand-child. She was just getting started to live her life but unfortunately death came to knock on her door and she had to go. Don’t have regrets at the end of your time. Use your life to its fullest potential. Take risks and find your “sweet” spot in life.
Create your “bucket list” of things you want to accomplish before you die. Don’t wait, do it today! Life is worth living!

Fear
Fear ~ False Evidence Appearing Real
Is fear holding you back? Is it stopping you from accomplishing the things that you desire for your life?
Nehemiah was moved by God to rebuild the wall in Jerusalem. The wall had been destroyed and in those days a city without a wall was opened to attacks and it was actually considered a disgrace. Nehemiah was gung-ho about achieving this task for the people and God, but he would need to go before the King to ask for permission to take on the project.
I can imagine the daunting task at hand and going before the King was overwhelming for Nehemiah. The Bible said that fear came upon him. But instead of running away and feeling defeated before he even started; Nehemiah prayed and moved forward.
How many of us have been called to do something in our lives that fear has come along and paralyzed us from moving forward? How many dreams to you believe are still sitting in the hearts of men and women all over the world that will never be realized because fear stopped them?
Fear is a real emotion and we all face it at some point in our lives. But if we take on the attitude of Nehemiah and pray, then move, God is faithful to give us the courage to continue on our journey.
Whether it’s that you would like to go back to school, start a business, or have a dream to impact the world, stop, and pray and ask God for the courage to continue to see it come to fruition. We may not know the what, the where, or the how but trust in God that He will see you through.
Don’t allow fear to kill your dreams or aspirations. Today take a big breath, pray and plunge forward. You owe it to the world to be all that God ordained you to be!

Don’t Give Up, Just Press!
My friend’s signature on her text messages is “pressing for my blessing”. I love that because it tells me that she will not allow anything to get in her way of reaching her full potential in God. She will not allow anything to come in her way that will hinder her from receiving all that the Lord has for her. But the word “press” means pushing, exerting some strength into it. When you press you have to resolve that no matter what you are going forward. Your body might be tired, your situation may be huge, but you know in your knower that if you can just get to God, He will make everything alright!
That is what the woman with the issue of blood in Bible thought. Ladies can you imagine bleeding for 12 years! Being the outcast of the community because of some sort of medical issue? We can barely handle the 5 days or for some of us more like 12. But she resolved to press on that day when she heard that the “healer” was in town. She probably woke up that morning saying to herself; “today I am going to be healed”! Her girlfriends probably told her; girl you are not going to be able to get near Jesus because there are thousands of people out there. But she knew that Jesus could heal her and so she made up her mind to press. She had tried everything else, all the doctors and remedies and nothing worked. She was sick and tired or being sick and tired. So she pressed!
She activated her faith and pressed and pushed her way through the crowd that day and all she needed to do was touch the hem of Jesus’ garment and she was made whole!
Today is your day to press; press to Jesus for that blessing you have been waiting for. The breakthrough that you have needed for so long. God is able, just press!

How Do You Want to Connect?
Amazing Grace
Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me, I once was lost but now I am found, was blind but now I see! Oh how the wonderful words of this hymn can be the anthem for any person I know who has found the sweet grace of God in their lives.
Oh the loving grace of a God that is “pure” love! How can we even contain the joy that we feel when we think about His goodness. I know for me it is like what King David said “it is like fire shut up in my bones”. I have to let it out in my worship and my praise. The awesomeness of who God is we will never be able to wrap out infinite minds around. But what we can understand is like sweet honey from the honeycomb.
God loves our praise and He inhabits our worship. He deserves all that we can give. Won’t you give Him the fruit of your praise today? Won’t you stop where you are and worship Him with all that you have? Will you dance like King David danced?
2 Corinthians 12:9 “But He said to me; My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” NIV

A Letter To My Sisters
I love you for who you are today! You are strong and wise. You are beautiful and kind. You are resilient and focused. You are a giver and caring. You nurture, you love, and you live.
You are hurt and sad. You are lonely and broken. You are sick and depressed. You are weak and fragile. You need healing, you need love and you need rest.
No matter where you are or where you have been, I accept you. No matter how many mistakes you have made, I respect you. No matter what you face, I stand with you. I will lift you up when you fall. When you are weak I will prop you up with prayers of love. I may get busy with life but know that you are still a part of my heart.
Together we are strong. Together we can move mountains. Together we can accomplish dreams. Together we can change the world!
You are worthy of all the good that God has for you. You are special in His eyes. His heart longs for you. He desires to see you whole and prospering in the fullness of His love.
Please remember that you are not alone in this journey called life. I am your sister and I am with you!
With love. . .

This is Who I Am
I have been blogging for over 2 months now and I only had a few comments and one subscriber, but I that is not why I started blogging. I wanted to have another avenue to reach out to other women to share my life as I live it. It is my online journal of the lessons that God shows me everyday.
Perhaps you can relate to the fact that ever since I started blogging, posting, and tweeting, I have left little time to concentrate on my writing. I am presently in the middle of writing my first book. Because it is totally inspired by God I know that He has a fresh, relevant message that needs to reach the masses. I am just the vessel in which He chose to deliver it. But honestly I have been slacking back on the writing. Wasting time on worthless stuff. I know better than that.
Well on Saturday morning I woke up and as usual I checked all my social media sites to see what was going on. And to my surprise I had a comment on one of my recent posts. I was so excited that I accidentally called my mother at 7 o’clock in the morning (I know better than that). But I couldn’t contain myself. It was as if I had won the lottery or struck oil. The reason for my great joy is because I had touched one person with my message that day.
You may not understand my wild excitement, but you see, God has ordained me to encourage and inspire women to live out their purpose in Him. And to actually have one person touched by my blog meant the whole world to me. This is who I am, this is what I was put on this earth to do. And if I can help 1 or 1,000, my journey would not have been in vain. I will be able to have glorified my God! I may not have gotten it all right in life, but this one thing is burning on my spirit so deep that I must fulfill it before I die.
So needless to say I need to finish this book. I can’t spend countless hours just looking at what everybody else is doing. I need to be about my Father’s business! I need to be helping hurting women know their true worth. I need to be helping them discover their potential in God. I need to be there to pray with them and for them as they go through their storms. I need to be their sister-friend and encourage them in their dreams.
This is who I am! I am living out the purpose that God predestined for me to be in the world to help transform lives from ordinary to extraordinary in Him.
